I've beeh working evey day for the last two weeks, and I mean every day. Not this weekend! My little bro and his family are coming home this weekend to visit. Hopefully he will remember to bring the printer. If not, oh well. I spent the last week in Minot working, Bugger! I go back next week on Tuesday. We are helping them do their cross sectioning of the highway they redid this year. Not hard work, just tedious. Especially when you got ten miles of it. So we are going to help, it goes faster with the GPS. We'll have one base station and two rovers going so it should go pretty fast.
My harley is still broke down. Bugger it all to hell and back again. I have not even had a chance to look at it. Soon I shouild be working on it, I hope.

As soon as I can!!
I will post the pics from the trip Matt and I took to the west coast as soon as I get a scanner (hint hint Doug). It was as awesome ride. Over six hundred miles of curves, perfect weather, and a good buddy to ride with. Best idea I had in a long time. That's the way it works, I have the idea to go. Matt plans the rout, and we pick a time and go. This spring I think we are going to Texas. Why? Because its there. I post more info on that ride and the one we just did later. I gotta go tare down a house right now.

Good times had by all!!
Well I didn't go to Sturgis, but friends of mine did. They had a blast which is good, they deserve it. They got back last Friday night and stopped by the bar. Clint broke his bike about Buffalo SD. So they rented a Uhaul and trailered the bikes the rest of the way home. Clint and Jaeger and Crystall all got new tattoos.
Another event I could not afford was the Reverend Horton Heat in Fargo. My brother doug went with friends of his and had a really good time by sound of it. I just could not afford to spend the weekend in Fargo. Not with fixing on my Harley to get ready for the hell ride Matt has got in store for us.
But I did go see Jackal play in New Rockford this weekend. We missed the opening act (a one man band, and from what I'm told the guy was blind) cause we were in the bar. Next on was Seventh Seal. I probably spelt the name wrong, oh well. They were pretty good. I would go see them again. Then the main event of the evening, Jackal came on. I was maybe three people from the stage. They sounded great. It was kind of like a club concert, a more close nit atmosphere. Damn good time, I know because I can barely talk from singing along with all the songs. It's getting better now. After the concert we went to an after party at cool little place, I'm not sure they want the name of it out so I won't say where. We left there with one extra passenger. Ryan was left there by his buddies so we gave him a ride home. A little out of our way but I ain't going to leave a friend hanging like that. Neither would Mandy which is good cause she ended up driving us home. I couldn't stay awake. All home safe and sound and every one a good time. Now we can relax from the weekend.

New Plan
Ponch and myself have a new plan. Since we could not make Sturgis, we are thinking of trying to make it to the west coast in two days. Its about 1540 miles by the rout Ponch picked out. It ends up being about 800 miles per day. That's going to be some hard riding! What the hell though, right. You only live once and that's the only ocean bordering the states that I have yet to see. We may have a third for our little adventure, our buddy Cort may come with. We don't have all the details worked out yet, so there will be another post with more info. Till then, Ride Hard, Live Loud, Fuck Often, and The Hell With Em If They Can't Take A Joke!!

*&^*%^(
Catchy title huh. It's not really appropriate to put what I want to say up there. My buddies Denis, Jen, Clint, and Crystal are leaving for Sturgis in about two hours here. I can't afford to go. Chris and Christina are leaving on sunday. I'm going to stay home and get drunk. Another friend of mine, Mandy, got us free tickets to the races on Saturday nite. So the weekend is not a total loss. I have not gotten the honda home yet. The weekend my brother was home was not really working for either of us I think. This weekend though I'm bringing it home. Other than the races, I've got nothing better to do. Finally starting to get some overtime, make a little extra cash. Other than being frustrated about Stugis, things are starting to go a little better. Next time Doug comes home I'll have the bike ready for him. As soon as I can find training wheels big enough for a motorcycle.

Summer Time Blues
Everyone knows (at least everyone I kow) what its like to be flat broke. Thats where I'm at right now. Good thing I have a bar tab. I don't know what I did with my money, but it went quick. Always does. I was going to Sturgis this year, don't think so now. I could still go but what fun am I going to have with no money. Oh well, there is always next year. At least I can still ride around here, plus it's alot cheaper on gas than my pickup.
Doug is showing some interest in learning to ride again. I'll have to get the honda back from Mike and work on it a little. Mabey next time dougs home for a visit I can have him ride around the yard again and get a feel for it. Probably sneak him out of the yard for a little cruise if he's up to it. Have to wait and see.

My bike is finally done. It runs great, shifts good. What the hell am I doing here? Going for a ride. Maybe I'll write something else when we get another rain day. Later.
