Good Times

St patty's day has come and gone again. This year instead of getting blindly intoxicated again, I went to Fargo to see My uncle Mark and his band play at Play Makers. It was a Shuffle Cats reunion. There was Mark Anthony's Storm Project and Sweet Paulie T and the Blues Blasters playing, and it kicked ass! I met up with the little bro Doug and his girlfriend Karissa and Mom and my "little" sister Ang and her husband Brian. I say "little" sister because she is six years older than I, but about a foot shorter :-). Then again, Karissa is about the same height. I wonder what its like being vertically challenged. Anyway, the concert was alot of fun and the music was just great. A friend of mine was suppose to come with me, but she "fell asleep" and did not wake up by the time I left. Oh well, I still had fun. Mark has an agent now and is going on tour starting May 1st, if I get a list of dates I'll post them on here if anyone is interested. It Blues style music. Also on another musical note, I have my Type O Negative ticket. Doug and I and some of his friends are going. My friends are not into that type of music. Bunch of sissies. After that me and the guys are planning on going to Williston for a bike show on the 14th of April. My liver is not going to speak to me again for awhile after that. Also this week I'm in GF for a Construction conference for work, overnight trip. This weekend I'm suppose to go with the same friend that flaked out on me this last weekend to a UFC style fight in GF. I guess Shes got good tickets. We'll see how that goes. Crap, just got busted doing this at work. Great now I gotta go do something.

Can you hear it?

Can you hear it? I can. I know some others can. It won't be long and every one will hear the thunder of pipes roaring after a long winters sleep. With this weather I'm really getting the itch to get my bike out on the road. I've got some fixin to do before the riding season officially starts, redo the clutch and maybe the front brake. My buddy Mikey wants to go for a ride today. I don't blame him. The last couple of years Matt has been the first one out with his Evo. It would be nice if Mikey and his 68 shovel head beat him to it this year. Denis just got done repainting his sportster, looks damn good for being the first one he has ever done. Today the sun is shining, 50 degrees outside. Hell with this noise, I'm going for a ride.

You can't take some people anywhere

Mabey its just me, but does any one have a friend that you can't take anywhere? I've got a buddy like that. This last weekend a bunch of us went out to the bar. The night started out good, everyone having fun. Close to closing, my buddy wants to this one person in particular in another bar. Myself and another tell him to just leave the situation alone. As always he dosn't listen to us and damn near gets into a fight again. I say again because this happens every time or almost every time we go up to the bar. Once he has enough to drink, hes ten feet tall and bullet proof. I don't know if he feels he has somthing to prove or what? It is really getting old, having to babysit every time he comes out with us. Don't take this the wrong way, he is one of the best friends a guy could have. Litteraly, he would give you the shirt off his back if you asked for it. But at the same time what fun is it to go out if you got to watch some one all the time to make sure he's not freaking out over nothing. I'm just pissed that this happened again. Sooner or later I figure he'll grow up and realize that this crap has to stop. I'd hate to see him end up in jail for something dumb.
