December
Yup. Its Christmas time again, spend all your money and go into debt. I'm almost done, just got mom left. She's always the hardest to shop for, I'm not into the same things she is so I have no idea what to get her. The weekend of the 15th the boys and I went snowmobiling up in the Pembina Gorge by Olga. Fourteen hours of straight riding! Ouch! Was sore for a couple days but what the hell. Price you pay for having fun. Work is dull, done a couple seal coat typicals on the computer. Other then that nothing really going on. The 29th the boys and I are heading back north snowmobiling. Can't ride my Harley got ride something. If you read this Doug you could probably bring any one of those movies with you one time and take the title from me. Maybe? That is unless your scared and don't want to embarrass yourself. Yes that is a challenge Sniket! Do your worst! Please, I'm bored and need something to do like torture dad with horrible movies.

Been Awhile
It's been awhile since I posted anything. Been busy. I was given another job to do for the Minot District. A survey on a wooden bridge which was pretty cool. I got to use my GPS equipment and see the out come on the computer. With everything that makes your life easier, there are two things that make it harder. I'm not going to whine about those, just grin and bare it. The survey is done, just sending it in now.
November 9th was a holiday as far as I'm concerned. Opening day of Deer season. I shot 2 that day. The rest of the weekend we didn't see anything. Saturdays and Sundays for the rest of the season would be the same. I took the fallowing week I took off from work to go hunting and do other things, like get a new tattoo. It was a great week.
MONDAY: I got my new tattoo at Dead Rockstar in Fargo. A rendition of our family crest, which turned out sweet. Very professional, clean environment. By the way Doug, Brice said hi.
TUESDAY:nothing
WEDNESDAY:nothing
THURSDAY: My buddy Denis and I went hunting again. I shot my buck and he got a nice doe.
FRIDAY: Same as Thursday only Denis shot the buck and a doe and I shot a doe. Denis and I have all our tags filled now.
SATURDAY & SUNDAY: We went to help my brother-in-law Brian. Denis and his son didn't come out on Sunday. My niece Emberly came hunting on Sunday for the first time. I made her shoot my SKS, it's not a big round so it don't kick. She was still scared so I had to hold it while she pulled the trigger.
Went hunting with Jack and Brian on Thanksgiving, I shot a doe for Brian. Jack and I go out again on Friday and each shoot a deer.
That's pretty much brings us up to present. I'm going to start processing my deer meat this weekend. Still haven't worked on my Harley. Someday. Doug, I've got those pics you asked for.

Bugger!
I've beeh working evey day for the last two weeks, and I mean every day. Not this weekend! My little bro and his family are coming home this weekend to visit. Hopefully he will remember to bring the printer. If not, oh well. I spent the last week in Minot working, Bugger! I go back next week on Tuesday. We are helping them do their cross sectioning of the highway they redid this year. Not hard work, just tedious. Especially when you got ten miles of it. So we are going to help, it goes faster with the GPS. We'll have one base station and two rovers going so it should go pretty fast.
My harley is still broke down. Bugger it all to hell and back again. I have not even had a chance to look at it. Soon I shouild be working on it, I hope.

As soon as I can!!
I will post the pics from the trip Matt and I took to the west coast as soon as I get a scanner (hint hint Doug). It was as awesome ride. Over six hundred miles of curves, perfect weather, and a good buddy to ride with. Best idea I had in a long time. That's the way it works, I have the idea to go. Matt plans the rout, and we pick a time and go. This spring I think we are going to Texas. Why? Because its there. I post more info on that ride and the one we just did later. I gotta go tare down a house right now.

Good times had by all!!
Well I didn't go to Sturgis, but friends of mine did. They had a blast which is good, they deserve it. They got back last Friday night and stopped by the bar. Clint broke his bike about Buffalo SD. So they rented a Uhaul and trailered the bikes the rest of the way home. Clint and Jaeger and Crystall all got new tattoos.
Another event I could not afford was the Reverend Horton Heat in Fargo. My brother doug went with friends of his and had a really good time by sound of it. I just could not afford to spend the weekend in Fargo. Not with fixing on my Harley to get ready for the hell ride Matt has got in store for us.
But I did go see Jackal play in New Rockford this weekend. We missed the opening act (a one man band, and from what I'm told the guy was blind) cause we were in the bar. Next on was Seventh Seal. I probably spelt the name wrong, oh well. They were pretty good. I would go see them again. Then the main event of the evening, Jackal came on. I was maybe three people from the stage. They sounded great. It was kind of like a club concert, a more close nit atmosphere. Damn good time, I know because I can barely talk from singing along with all the songs. It's getting better now. After the concert we went to an after party at cool little place, I'm not sure they want the name of it out so I won't say where. We left there with one extra passenger. Ryan was left there by his buddies so we gave him a ride home. A little out of our way but I ain't going to leave a friend hanging like that. Neither would Mandy which is good cause she ended up driving us home. I couldn't stay awake. All home safe and sound and every one a good time. Now we can relax from the weekend.

New Plan
Ponch and myself have a new plan. Since we could not make Sturgis, we are thinking of trying to make it to the west coast in two days. Its about 1540 miles by the rout Ponch picked out. It ends up being about 800 miles per day. That's going to be some hard riding! What the hell though, right. You only live once and that's the only ocean bordering the states that I have yet to see. We may have a third for our little adventure, our buddy Cort may come with. We don't have all the details worked out yet, so there will be another post with more info. Till then, Ride Hard, Live Loud, Fuck Often, and The Hell With Em If They Can't Take A Joke!!

*&^*%^(
Catchy title huh. It's not really appropriate to put what I want to say up there. My buddies Denis, Jen, Clint, and Crystal are leaving for Sturgis in about two hours here. I can't afford to go. Chris and Christina are leaving on sunday. I'm going to stay home and get drunk. Another friend of mine, Mandy, got us free tickets to the races on Saturday nite. So the weekend is not a total loss. I have not gotten the honda home yet. The weekend my brother was home was not really working for either of us I think. This weekend though I'm bringing it home. Other than the races, I've got nothing better to do. Finally starting to get some overtime, make a little extra cash. Other than being frustrated about Stugis, things are starting to go a little better. Next time Doug comes home I'll have the bike ready for him. As soon as I can find training wheels big enough for a motorcycle.

Summer Time Blues
Everyone knows (at least everyone I kow) what its like to be flat broke. Thats where I'm at right now. Good thing I have a bar tab. I don't know what I did with my money, but it went quick. Always does. I was going to Sturgis this year, don't think so now. I could still go but what fun am I going to have with no money. Oh well, there is always next year. At least I can still ride around here, plus it's alot cheaper on gas than my pickup.
Doug is showing some interest in learning to ride again. I'll have to get the honda back from Mike and work on it a little. Mabey next time dougs home for a visit I can have him ride around the yard again and get a feel for it. Probably sneak him out of the yard for a little cruise if he's up to it. Have to wait and see.

Loyalty
You got this group of buddies you hang out with and trust. I'm not talking average acquaintances either, but true friends. At least that's what I thought until this weekend. As it turns out, one of the boys is not happy, and instead of talking to us about it he goes and says how much we don't respect him and how we don't treat him as an equal to others. Well maybe if he didn't act like such a little bitch all the fucking time we would treat him better. I mean this punk says hes your friend and then when you need him he's to busy or its to cold out to start his vehicle or some pussy ass excuse like that. I thought friends were suppose to look out for each other. This little fuck looks out for himself and no one else. I know how all this sounds and I really don't care, I'm really pissed off at the bastard. If we treat him so badly why the hell does he hang out with us? Why didn't he talk to us about it? Oh wait, I know. He's a puke. NO loyalty what so ever. To any one reading this, choose your friends carefully. You don't want to get stuck with a chump like this!

S#$%*T
I am a little upset with myself. I've had my parts for my harley for about a week and have yet to even look at my bike. Yeah I've been sick or helping my buddies with thier bikes. Today I'm going to work on mine and if any one calls asking for help with something they are just outta luck. The colds I had were nasty enough to put me down for a couple days. Last week ended with a chest cold and sinus infection, this week it added some unpleasant stomach problems and I missed a day of work. I hope no one else gets this. It was horrible. I say was because today I feel pretty damn good. I am still waiting for my little bro to help me put some pics on here. He got puddled on saturday, so did his girlfriend. Which is cool, they deserve to go out and have some fun once in a while.
Saturday was not a good night for me. My brother and his friends were great, always are. But the other people I was with, nothing but drama. First there was a fight at the bar I hang out in. I had to bring one of the regulars up to the emergancy room to get stitches. Then after I got him home another friend of mine was having issues so to speak. Damn near had a street fight going before we got every body to leave. Everthing was okay for about an hour than she had to go talk to her ex at another bar and proceded to start fighting with him. Overall not a good night at all. I should have just went to hang out with my brother and his friends. Mine are all nuts.

I'm Lost
I really have no idea what the hell is going on. I might end up in Grand Forks for a couple weeks, or I'll wander around here. It really dosn' t matter. I get paid either way, it would just be nice to know for sure so I could plan something. Still restricted to fourty hours a week. It will be that way until the first of July, mabey longer. So I put in four ten hour days. I also am picking up a night or two at the bar for extra cash. My younger brother has told me about a movie "Six String Samuri". If he would ever bring it with him when he comes to visit I might get to see it. Then again Doug your the only one who reads this so bring the damn movie with you next time you come down. I don't really have anything else to say at this point. It might be awhile before I post anything again.

Outside
Finally we get to work outside again!! I hate being in the office. The only bad part is the lagoon is thawing too. That lovely aroma that lets you your in DL. Its like a huge slap in the face first thing in the morning. One would think there is an additive or chemical or something that could help deminish the smell. At least the weather is nice. Some rain could help the lawn. Most of my friends have been riding up a storm, dirty S.O.B.s . Mine is still in peices. Not happy about that. My buddy Cletis came over on sat. and watched a movie my brother left. Dad watched it too, which I think he regrets. I thought it was funnier than hell. You could tell they made it stupid on purpose. That might be what diquallifies it from our little contest.

Good Times
St patty's day has come and gone again. This year instead of getting blindly intoxicated again, I went to Fargo to see My uncle Mark and his band play at Play Makers. It was a Shuffle Cats reunion. There was Mark Anthony's Storm Project and Sweet Paulie T and the Blues Blasters playing, and it kicked ass! I met up with the little bro Doug and his girlfriend Karissa and Mom and my "little" sister Ang and her husband Brian. I say "little" sister because she is six years older than I, but about a foot shorter :-). Then again, Karissa is about the same height. I wonder what its like being vertically challenged. Anyway, the concert was alot of fun and the music was just great. A friend of mine was suppose to come with me, but she "fell asleep" and did not wake up by the time I left. Oh well, I still had fun. Mark has an agent now and is going on tour starting May 1st, if I get a list of dates I'll post them on here if anyone is interested. It Blues style music. Also on another musical note, I have my Type O Negative ticket. Doug and I and some of his friends are going. My friends are not into that type of music. Bunch of sissies. After that me and the guys are planning on going to Williston for a bike show on the 14th of April. My liver is not going to speak to me again for awhile after that. Also this week I'm in GF for a Construction conference for work, overnight trip. This weekend I'm suppose to go with the same friend that flaked out on me this last weekend to a UFC style fight in GF. I guess Shes got good tickets. We'll see how that goes. Crap, just got busted doing this at work. Great now I gotta go do something.

Can you hear it?
Can you hear it? I can. I know some others can. It won't be long and every one will hear the thunder of pipes roaring after a long winters sleep. With this weather I'm really getting the itch to get my bike out on the road. I've got some fixin to do before the riding season officially starts, redo the clutch and maybe the front brake. My buddy Mikey wants to go for a ride today. I don't blame him. The last couple of years Matt has been the first one out with his Evo. It would be nice if Mikey and his 68 shovel head beat him to it this year. Denis just got done repainting his sportster, looks damn good for being the first one he has ever done. Today the sun is shining, 50 degrees outside. Hell with this noise, I'm going for a ride.

You can't take some people anywhere
Mabey its just me, but does any one have a friend that you can't take anywhere? I've got a buddy like that. This last weekend a bunch of us went out to the bar. The night started out good, everyone having fun. Close to closing, my buddy wants to this one person in particular in another bar. Myself and another tell him to just leave the situation alone. As always he dosn't listen to us and damn near gets into a fight again. I say again because this happens every time or almost every time we go up to the bar. Once he has enough to drink, hes ten feet tall and bullet proof. I don't know if he feels he has somthing to prove or what? It is really getting old, having to babysit every time he comes out with us. Don't take this the wrong way, he is one of the best friends a guy could have. Litteraly, he would give you the shirt off his back if you asked for it. But at the same time what fun is it to go out if you got to watch some one all the time to make sure he's not freaking out over nothing. I'm just pissed that this happened again. Sooner or later I figure he'll grow up and realize that this crap has to stop. I'd hate to see him end up in jail for something dumb.

snowmobile trip
Its been awhile since I've been on here. This last weekend me and the guys went on a little trip up north to a buddies farm near Walhalla, N.D. to go riding on the sleds. What a blast!!! Jack, Matt, and Clint rode the sleds there from DL, a good 100 mile trip to the farm. Jon, Jaeger, and myself not being that ambitious (or foolish depending on perspective) trailered ours up. We met Jon's brother Cortney at the farm, and proceeded to start in on the booze. Then we headed out with Cort blazing the trail. What an awesome ride, every time we stopped the scenery was just spellbinding. Every time we stopped we also drank some more. We were up and down the Pembina Gorge, hit the flat land and open up the throttle. Back down into the gorge, fallowing game trails, crossing the river. We ended up back at the farm around 2am, all shitfaced and tired.
Sunday rolls around and everybody hungover and sore from the ride the previous night. Cort and Jaeger cook up some breakfast for everyone and we sit around bullshitting the day away. About 3 in the afternoon the guys decide its time to ride again. Not this guy. I decided to hang back at the farm and make supper for when they got back. Besides I was still sore from the night before, and Friday night when I took my sled for a ride with Jack out to Penn and hit 2 fences. So I made chili and let it simmer all night. Its really peaceful at the farm with no one around. I sat there reading a book till they got back, at 3am!! When they came in they were hammered. I wasn't to bad off myself but Jack was completely fubared. From what the guys told me (about 6 times each) was they stopped on the river bottom for a beer break. Jack took off his helmet turned around on his sled and stretched out, and then passing out. Cort had gone back up the trail to look for Jon and Matt. Clint meanwhile was shaking Jacks foot to try to wake him. When the three caught up with rest they finally woke Jack up. Keep in mind he is facing the wrong way on his sled. Jack shoots bolt upright and grabs for the handle bars and giving her throttle, only to realize that he is facing the wrong way. He spins around and again grabs for the handle bars, giving her gas for all shes worth. Cort, being kind hearted and just a good guy, walks up to Jack and puts his arm around him and says "Jack, buddy your sleds not running." While the others are snickering in the background Jack looks around, sees that his hood is open on the sled and says "Oh." Wish I would have been there for that one. Also Jon had dropped his sled off a 10 foot ledge with Matt almost following. That is why they were behind, both shook up a little. The guys ate and we all crashed for the night about 5am. The next day we were packed up and ready to head home by about 1pm. That is the amazing part. Matt, Jack, and Clint rode their sleds home, but did not want to. The three of us who are smart(at least on this occasion) trailered ours home. Cort had left about 11am to get back to grand forks so he could go to work. The weekend was a relaxing and needed escape for all of us. We are hoping to do this again before spring arrives.
PS If you are reading this Doug, Dad is wondering when you are coming to visit again.

New Toy
Last week I bought a snowmobile. It needs some work, a new hood, brake line, recoil rope. I could not pass up the price, $200.00 for a 1997 Skidoo 583 mxz. We got it running this week, used some parts from a sled my buddy Jack owns. I found a hell of a deal for the hood on Ebay on tuesday. Just waiting on parts we ordered last week to come in. I don't know if my brother in law gave me the helmet or if he is just letting me use it? Don't matter, I be riding it by next weekend. Mabey the next time Doug comes to visit he'll bring his camera and I can post some pics.

Hello
Not sure what I'm doing, but how else am I going to learn. Being its winter I'm stuck in the office doing paper work or staring at the wall. Hopefully within the next week or so we'll be back outside doing something. Other than working and playing on a pool league I am looking for parts for my Harley. I have to fix the clutch and replace the front brake and some other odds and ends too numerous to mention. Don't have any pics cause I ain't got a camera, and don't know how to put them on here anyway. Have to get my brother to show me how. I don't really know what else to say.
